Mr. Chris Veesaert has served on the SWSDW&S District Board of Directors for over 20 years and has been a member of the District since 1986. Mr. Veesaert is a civil engineer and retired after 30 years with the Bureau of Reclamation, a federal water resources agency. He has served in various capacities with the Governor’s Ranch HOA, including a term on the Board of Directors. Since retirement, he has participated in 2 extended disaster relief assignments with FEMA. Mr. Veesaert is married with 3 grown children, one of whom also lives in the District, and 5 grandchildren. In addition to enjoying time with his grandchildren, he is an avid cyclist, plays tennis, and is a bonsai enthusiast.
